Large round Tibetan Gau box made of Tibetan silver and brass from Nepal. This prayer box is decorated with the Tibetan symbol Vishravajra and inlaid with turquoise and red coral. The box can be opened with a lid. Vishravajra is also called double Vajra or double Dorje and stands for absolute stability. The Vishravajra is the symbol of Amoghasiddhi, the Buddha of All-Encompassing Wisdom.
The pendant dimensions are 7.7 cm x 5 cm x 2.3 cm.
The jewelry from Nepal are not always completely straight and refined. Tibetan silver is a mix of silver and other metals and therefore a bit darker in color.
